I hate to say it, but try the drag shops -- they specialize in bigger sizes. Foxy Lady in the Mission (on Mission St around 23rd, I think) or the drag/ costume shop on Haight (can't remember the name, but it's on the north side of the street and has giant fishnet-clad legs coming out of the upstairs window!) would both have a big selection. Of course, if you're looking for something understated or practical, that might not work. I've also seen bigger women's sizes at DSW and Ross. Good luck! |
